According to  chemical composition

Organic  fertilizers

Organic  fertilizers are derived from plants and animals. They are applied to the soil  to provide carbonaceous materials with their main functions, such as cake  fertilizer, human manure, poultry and livestock manure, straw and other  retting compost, green manure and other farm manure and humic acid  fertilizer.

Inorganic  fertilizer (chemical fertilizer)

Inorganic  fertilizer (chemical fertilizer) that indicates that nutrients are in the  form of inorganic salts, made by extraction, physical or chemical industrial  methods. For example, urea, ammonium sulfate, ammonium bicarbonate, ammonium  chloride, superphosphate, ammonium phosphate, potassium sulfate, potassium  chloride, ammonium dihydrogen phosphate, calcium magnesium phosphate,  magnesium sulfate, manganese sulfate, borax, zinc sulfate, sulfuric acid  Copper, ferrous sulfate, ammonium molybdate, etc.

Organic-inorganic  fertilizers

Organic-inorganic  fertilizers are products derived from organic and inorganic substances with  indicated nutrients. They are made by mixing or combining organic and  inorganic fertilizers.

According to  the nutrient elements

Elemental  fertilizer

Only refers  to one nutrient among the three basic nutrients of nitrogen, phosphate, potassium.  For example, urea, ammonium sulfate, ammonium bicarbonate, superphosphate,  double superphosphate, potassium sulfate, potassium chloride, etc. The others  of Copper sulfate, borax, zinc sulfate, manganese sulfate, ferrous sulfate,  ammonium molybdate, etc. are called elemental trace element fertilizers.

Mixed fertilizer

Among the  three nutrients of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, at least two of the  nutrients are indicated in the products. This mixed fertilizer can be  regarded as a general term for Fertilizers made by chemical methods or  blending methods. For example: various compound (combined/blended)  fertilizers.

Compound  fertilizer

Among the  three nutrients of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, at least two of the  nutrients are indicated in the products, and only chemically made  fertilizers, for example, monoammonium phosphate, diammonium phosphate,  phosphate nitrate, potassium nitrate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate Wait.

Blended  fertilizer

Blended with  nitrogen/phosphate/potassium with appropriate amounts of middle and trace  elements, and fertilizers prepared by mechanical mixing. They can be divided  into granular compost, powder compost and blended fertilizer. For example,  various special compound fertilizers.

Formula  fertilizer

It uses soil  testing formula technology, according to the nutritional needs of different  crops, soil nutrient content and fertilizer supply characteristics, as well  as various elemental fertilizers or compound fertilizers as raw materials,  and then targeted additions of moderate and trace elements or specific  organic fertilizers, etc. . It is processed by blending or granulating  industry and specially for a certain of crops or a certain of areas.
